Hours of duty are from 30 minutes before the first race,
to 1 hour after the last race, on the days designated in the club
programme. |

Hoist the Ensign up to the Gaff and the Club Burgee to
the top of the clubhouse mast. |

Ensure that the Rear Exit Door is unlocked and is free
to open. |

| 4 |
Ensure that the Rescue Boat and the crew are available
for duty. |
| |

| 5 |
When conditions are considered unsuitable for club boats
to be out on the water, a Warning Flag is to be hoisted to the yardarm. |

| 6 |
Ensure that all Club Boats are used correctly. |
| |

| 7 |
Ensure that lifejackets are worn by member’s aged 14 and
under, when on or near the water. |
| |

| 8 |
Prospective members are to be welcomed to the club and
the Programme, Rules/Regulations, Subscriptions and Fees explained to
them. |

| 9 |
Ensure that the bar opening and closing times are
adhered to. |
| |

| 10 |
Ensure at the completion of the duty that all the club
boats are stowed away, the race hut and the clubhouse basement are
secure and locked, that all the clubhouse windows and doors are closed
and locked, that the electric power is turned off and that the access
gate is locked. |

| 11 |
The Duty Officer on completion of the duty and there
still being members present, or on being absent from the club premises
during the duty, will ensure that a committee member present is made
responsible for these duties. |

On completion the OOD is to close and lock the club gate
on departure. |
